The story of Jesus, recounted by a Roman soldier who was there at the time, to the grandchildren of one of his officers back in Rome many years later.

First edition: 190x130mm; red cloth with gilt title, author and publisher on spine only; dusterapper picture as frontispiece; 132pp; b/w frontis, map and 11 line illustrations. No artwork credited, frontispiece signed 'Hermsen'.
