The article, entitled Swaledale lures Saville fans, gives an account
of the visit by enthusiasts in June 2009 to Swaledale and
their exploration of the settings Saville used for his final Nettleford book The Secret of Buzzard Scar.
Those who were present that summer day will recall the snow which covered
the tops and the torrential sleet-ridden rain which greeted the walkers.
The article covers pages 82 to 84 inclusive and includes three photographs by Jane Noble showing soggy
walkers with undampened enthusiasm, in Muker and by Crackpot Hall. |
